Many women would agree – being a mum is one of life’s most precious gifts.

Indeed, bringing another human life into the world has long been a life ambition of mine. As I write this Blog article, I am proud and excited to say that I am only days away from this magical dream of becoming mine and my husband’s reality. I am having a baby.

7 Years Coaching Mums

As I consider my immediate future and the happy times ahead, it’s useful to reflect on the last few years. In fact, for the last 7 years, I’ve had the privilege of being a Business Coach to literally dozens of young mums around the UK and other parts of the world.

I’ve seen close up and personal how it really is possible to be a great mum and an ambitious, successful business woman at the same time.

I’m proud to have so many friends who are caring parents – people who have succeeded in designing a life that permits them to enjoy the best of their babies and their children… whilst managing a business that delivers a valuable contribution to the family’s income and, in many cases, being the household’s primary income above their husbands.

Evidence That It Works For Many Young Mums

I’ve got an abundance of evidence to show how my clients and friends have not had to choose motherhood over their business. Neither have they had to shoulder the stress of running a business whilst neglecting their family. Happy families are at the heart of what we do.

Worrying Trends The UK

I’m sorry and disappointed to report that the experience of my colleagues and friends is not the national norm here in the UK. It’s common knowledge that many young mums literally dread going back to work after a period on maternity leave.

Some research even suggests that mums are being discriminated against in the process of the maternity leave experience.  In fact, according to a report from the Citizens Advice in May 2016, there has been a 25% increase in people seeking advice on pregnancy and maternity discrimination in the last 12 months.

I am pleased and relieved that I don’t have to harbour the same feelings of doubt and insecurity that many of the mums talk about in the research that I have read.

The Solutions Are Available To Help

If you are an expectant mum, or you are living the experience of missing those essential childhood moments, not being at the school events as much as you would like to, not being at the school gate at the start and the end of the day, then this article may just give you some hope that there are other options for you to consider.

When a young mum chooses the right business vehicle, it really is possible to be an amazing mum whilst working from home. But how might you accomplish this?

A Proven Industry That Is Easy & Inexpensive To Join

I am proud to introduce you to the possibilities that exist via the global Direct Selling industry. This is an industry that enjoys a global turnover in excess of $178 billion or £142 billion when expressed in £ pounds sterling.

Many direct selling brands offer proven concepts. You enjoy access to high quality products, excellent training and business support systems. Entry level for those companies that adhere to the highly respected Direct Selling Association here in the UK is below £200.

That’s right, in many cases, you can start the process of setting up your own business for a starting investment of less than £200. In the case of the Umbrella Company that I work beneath, this modest fee includes an enviable supply of our best products for you to use, share and offer to customers as samples.

Take Some Time To Study The Facts

As I share news of the option that is available to young mums (and indeed to men also) I am conscious that some people will harbour fear of the new and non-traditional – or at least what people perceive to be the new and untested alternative.

Skepticism often exists when we look at new ways of doing things. My message to the cynics is simple – please take a fair and balanced look at the evidence that is available to support the credibility of some of the organisations that operate in Network Marketing and Direct Selling.

The truth is that Network Marketing has been around for more than 50 years. In fact, of the €178 billion annual turnover that I referred to earlier in this Blog, it is reported that €70 billion per annum is paid out to the people who run the direct selling businesses around the world. These people are mostly called Distributors or, in the case of my chosen Umbrella provider, we are described as Forever Business Owners.

Over Half A Million People In The UK Are Doing It

In the UK, as of 2016, the Direct Selling Association reported that more than 500,000 people choose this vehicle as a means of: a) generating an extra income or b) of accessing an exciting career income.

It would be unfair and inaccurate to say that every person who tries Network Marketing succeeds. But then again, it depends on your definition of success.

For some people, success means earning a few hundred extra pounds each month. For others, success means replacing the full-time employment income.

This type of career income (upwards of £20,000 per annum) can and often does require planning, discipline and persistence but there is an abundance of evidence to show how accessible this level of income can be for committed individuals.

Consider The Many Attractive Benefits

Here are just some of the benefits of choosing a career in Network Marketing:

  • Work from the comfort of your home – or anywhere where you can place a tablet, computer or mobile phone.
  • Work hours to suit you and your personal family circumstances
  • Design your business to meet your personal and family income
  • Access excellent personal development training
  • Acquire new knowledge and learn new skills
  • Develop a new set of friends and social contacts
  • Mix with positive like-minded people who have similar life circumstances to you
  • Access travel and car related bonuses and incentives

Why Not Follow My Business & Baby Journey?

I will be sharing my own journey of being a mum on my Facebook Business Page. Please do feel free to monitor my journey. If you are curious to know more, I would be delighted to hear from you – though I may be busy for the next two weeks settling into life at home with my baby.

Operating with transparency, good personal / business ethics and integrity is very important to me.

As a Global Business Coach, I operate beneath the Umbrella of Forever Living Products and I recommend their business formula as a vehicle for the pursuit of personal and business and business success. Virtually every business in the UK is governed by some form of UK Legislation. As far as the UK Legislation is concerned, what Forever Living Products does comes under what is known as The Trading Schemes Act.

When you consider any business opportunity, it is very important that you examine the details set out in the terms & conditions provided by that business and you consider the amount of time and effort you will need to put in to achieve the success you desire.

As I am effectively a promoter and a participant in a trading scheme, I am always careful to ensure that my clients understand that the benefits that myself and many others have enjoyed may not necessarily be achievable by everyone. It will take hard work, discipline and persistence to reap the benefits.

It is illegal for a promoter or a participant in a trading scheme to persuade anyone to make a payment by promising benefits by joining a scheme. Do not be misled by claims that high earnings are easily achieved.

In adhering to the UK Trading Schemes Legislation, it is my responsibly to point the detail written on this page to any interested person.
